Hi All
I am UK registered nurse major in adult nursing working in critical care. I am currently on process of registering with Texas BON and Reading for NCLEX and believe will pass it easily if the board allow me to take the test.
I like to know if my chance of getting a job and work visa once I passed my NCLEX and all the process with CGFNS and the board.
Thanks
Nicola
Thanks SilverfragonWhy Uk born? what about, born In other EU country but UK university graduate?
I think I am short of mental health, how can I top up it? Do you know university here in UK or online.
Thanks
Basically if born in China, India, Philippines, Mexico and El Salvador or other mentioned countries you could have a long wait especially India and Philippines. If born elsewhere then the wait isn't as long currently. Just search for US visa bulletin and check under EB3 as that is what nurses generally come under.
there are no universities in the UK that top up hours when looking to move abroad. When making hours up you need to do both clinical and theory hours at the same time.
Thanks for all your valuable information Silverdragon. I can see you are full of knowledge in this area and thanks God bless you abundantly for sharing it.
If you hear anything anytime a way i can take the top up or can be done without for any state, please post it in under this question and I will check periodically.
Thanks again
Hi LoopyLu, I did manage to sit the NCLEX and was successful first time .Yeah,it surprised me as well. I did Project 2000 so I had enough hours .The only way for you to find out is to get your transcript evaluated by CGFNS.Prepare to be frustrated.Am now waiting to see if my I-140 gets approved.
