UK NMC OSCE Failed

Hi All,

I failed to clear my NMC OSCE exam in the second attempt, Northampton failed me for minor mistakes. My hospital has withdrawn the sponsorship, due to home office regulations. Is there anyone who can help me how to proceed ahead? and how I can get a new sponsorship? Is there anyone facing/faced similar situation. Any help/info would be highly appreciated.

Hey guys! I finally passed the osce. Results after 24 hrs, then the pin a day after I paid for it. Sponsorship as a band 5 issued the following week. I've just applied for a new visa today. I don't know how to send private messages, but if you give me your email address I will contact you if you need help with the reapplication process. :)

Guys! Had a successful reapplication to the nmc and awaiting results of my 3rd attempt. Tips:1. Reapply as soon as you can. Call NMC a lot to follow up. Go to their office if you have to!2. CBT is valid - proceed to documents3. CBT is valid, IELTS expired - proceed to documents 4. CBT expired, IELTS still valid - retake CBT5. CBT expired, IELTS expired - pass ielts, then take CBT 6. Once CBT stage cleared, documents need to be completed (same as your previous application except no need to do the school/college docs) everything else can be sent to a friend or relative and completed in home country or other country where you were employed and mailed back to you7. Declaration of good health from GP or occupational health nurse at place of work now in UK8. Police clearance from embassy, and UK police clearance (dbs check) c/o employerGot my dl in July after 5 weeks of waiting. Took my exam in September, 6 months and 1 day after my last attempt.
A comment on item 3: I rang NMC about it and they said I need to have a valid IELTS even though I have a valid CBT in order for me to reapply...even though the one who took the call sounded like he's unsure of his answer. May I know where you got this information? Any particular details on reapplication? Thanks.

Hi Rilan! It's me. I was allowed to proceed to the documentation stage with an expired IELTS, But a valid CBT. I would suggest ringing them again and asking as many times as possible, and send an email as well so you have written proof. I personally went to the nmc office to have my application sorted as it wasn't letting me reapply at first.

Thank you Jacqueline! Yes, a huge relief. And it is the same every single time. They do know if it's your third time sitting the exam, because when I informed them that I could recognise the examiners from my previous attempts (because we have to declare that we don't know them before the start of the exam), they told me that it was ok and that they are aware.

Hi jnixrn, have you taken your resit? I also failed by osce because of planning and evaluation. It is really a nightmare!
