What do I need to do ? I'm totally lost ...

My partner lives in Florida ... Am just newly qualified in the UK ... We are planning marriage but what else do I need to do? Any advice would be appreciated ... I have done a common foundation year that encompassed mental health and mother and baby

I have done my CFP ... which covers mental health and mother and baby for the first year .... did a placement in each of them ... with the health visitor and midwife and a rehab unit for mental health (130 hours each around about) my BF is an American resident

Immigration wise easier getting married either before you move or K1 and get married in the US and change your status. Board of nursing wise the only real way to find out is get CES report done and see what they say

Thank you for your response :) I looked into that and found out that he can be my sponsor as long as he earns over 125% over the poverty level ... Which he does .. But I know I have to sit the nclex and the cnfsg I am not sure about as it says in some boards New York and Florida are the exception and in others it says I have too ... Also I am not sure if my CFP year covers me but I will contact who you mentioned ... Thank you :)

For most (all?) states you only need to sit NCLEX-which is the US RN licensing exam. You will need to apply for CES via CGFNS as a first step to getting a license. You will only be allowed to sit NCLEX if you meet the requirements for number of hours of theory and practice in MED/SURG/PEDS/OBS/PSYCH so start there. They can be very slow!
