Oh okay. I just need to do the hep b titer and TB test and I am good. Now I am nervous about getting it all in on time!

there’s that sentence about titers and vaccines and the TB that is underlined stating it must have been done by July 1st. I didn’t get results back till July 5/6th... I’m immune and had everything else done but should I worry ?

Hello all,

I just found this thread! I will be joining you next spring 2020 ? Where is everyone getting there BLS certification from?

I feel like the July 1st statement was for people that may be missing there hep B vaccinations (because they take 6 months to complete the set). I don't think you have anything to be worried about.

Yays! I won't be the oldest hopefully.

They told me October 15 at the interview, for immunizations.

I hope I’m not the oldest lol I just turned 29 last month ???

I got mine through american heart association!

I'm doing mine through red cross on the 16th. Just have to get my tb test read on Wednesday. And a flu shot.

Yeah. I think they were talking about how long the series for hep b takes. You should be fine, unless you need all three of them.

The Red Cross does first aid and pediatric/adult cpr in one class which is what I will be doing ?

How long did your TB test take to read?

I got my titer back and I have to take my last shot the first month of school. I didn’t have he immunity for Hep B. I talked to them and said it was fine! They said as long as I started it already! I take my second one the 16th ??‍♀️

@Ifranco2 is the cpr class BLS for health professionals?? because I almost took a regular cpr class and UIW wants a specific one
