UIC waiting! GAH!

Today, I'm completley anxiety ridden about this...dunno why, just kind of hit me..... I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!! Particularly since the names have been turned in and now it's just up to the grad school division to notify people...8 more days and counting:uhoh3:

I went through this also (last year). It is horrible, horrible, horrible. I also know nothing I say can stop the anxiety. But, just know that others have suffered as well.

thanks for the empathy:).....I know there is nothing to be done....trying to find my zen spot and remain calm......hopefully the next thread I can start will say "accepted at UIC!"

I know! The wait is killing me too. Ive been waiting since the beginning of April. But the date is approaching soon! :yeah:

At least if I don't hear anything by tomorrow, I'll know that I can take the weekend off and start worrying again on Monday...:chuckle

I know the feeling of waiting! I got accepted to UIC (adult/geriatric NP program) and started last January and will be done one year from now. It's a tough program, but we all get through it! Good luck!

Thanks :) quick qestion for you...do you know if they let everyone know including waitlisted people by their deadline ( this year the 15th- maybe same as last year?) or only the people offered admission outright?

Got the email today. I was accepted!!!

I want to tell everyone, but am waiting for my husband to call, as he's in Iraq right now. I really could cry right now!
