UIC GEP 2013

Anyone applying to UIC's graduate entry program starting Jan. 2013? I've glanced at the threads from the past couple of year's and thought I'd start one for the next application cycle. I'm finishing up pre-reqs and taking the GRE in a month. Good luck to all who plan on applying!

My interview is set for April 4th, but it looks as if there are also interviews for PNP on the 5th and the 11th! It's scary to think that there are three days of interviews for only 7-10 spots :(

Do you know how many people interview on each day? I applied to FNP, but haven't recieved an interview invite yet. I'm guessing they got a lot of applications, so there might be more of a delay.

I figured I should join since I've been anxiously checking this to see if people have found anything out anyway... I applied for PNP. I have not received anything about an interview. I know specialties send interview offers out at different times, but does anyone know for sure about WITHIN specialties? Obviously some people applying for peds have heard already... I've gotten into other schools but, well, I really don't want to go to other schools :(

I'm not sure how many interviews there are. But it looks like there are about 4 time slots for each day and it says that 2 people can sign up for each slot so that makes it loOk like there are about 24 interviews? I could be wrong though.

I hope you guys all make it into your programs, I'm waiting on the response from Acute care still. Anybody else??

I couldnt help but check the forum and am probably as anxious as you. I hope we all get in because we must want this pretty badly to be on here checking so frequently!

As for me, I'll be waiting for the news and whether or not I will be buying a plane ticket back the the states...
