Has anyone heard if you've gotten an interview yet? Starting to get anxious!!

I applied to the mental health nurse practitioner program too and I haven't heard anything yet! The wait is awful!

Tulip and Sunshine, I was also waitlisted for PNP! I am thinking about sending an email tomorrow to ask if it is possible to get more info on how the waitlist process worked (how many people for how many potential spots, if it was just PNP or all of WCFHS)...

I applied to adult/geriatric NP and received my e-mail Monday. My admission still needs to be approved by the Graduate College, but the e-mail said there shouldn't be any problems because the School of Nursing recommended me.

I wonder what's up with the lag between acceptance e-mails for the other adult/geriatric applications?

Fer1220, If you find anything out please let me know. I wish they told us where we were on the waitlist and how the process works in the email that they sent. I will also keep you and tulip posted if I hear anything.

Sunshine, I will definitely keep you posted. If I don't hear anything by e-mail, I will try to call next Monday just to see what is going on. Have you or tulip heard of anyone that has actually been accepted at all?

MackyMic-I also have not heard anything regarding the Adult/Geriatric NP specialty. I hope we hear before the weekend. The waiting is frustrating....

I haven't heard of anyone getting accepted yet on this forum...I think so far it's just the three of us on the wait list that are responding on the forum. Please let me know too if you hear anything about the waitlist process and I will definitely do the same!

So today, April 30th, is technically the last day of the waiting period according to the website. I don't feel too optimistic though seeing as a great number of us haven't heard yet. Hopefully the GEP will surprise us and let us all know today!! I guess we'll see. Good luck everyone!!!

I finally heard, and was placed on the waiting list for Adult/ Geriatric NP. More waiting =) I also do not know if the wait list is specialty specific or for the whole program. Congrats to everyone who was accepted/waitlisted, and good luck to those who are waiting to hear.

Just got word that I am on the waiting list for FNP which should make all the other FNP candidates smile a little with 1 less candidate to deal with!! Anyway, I feel good...I'm gonna be a social worker!! I'm not optimistic about the waiting list because I don't think anyone would actually turn down their spot at UIC..but for all those who are waiting...I hope I am wrong!!! Cheers!!!
