Just wanted to start a UIC thread here since the acceptance/denial letters will be going out soon. I expect to get the decision by April 15.

Congrats! What was ur gpa if u don't mind I'm trying to see how they rank the ppl on the waitlist bc my friend just got in today aswell and her gpa was higher than mine

Hey, Brown Eyed Girl-

I was accepted for 2010 BSN. My GPA is also a 4.0, but I have zero clinical experience. I really think it's a case-by-case selection process. Experience is good because it lets them know that you know what you're getting in to and are still interested in a nursing career.

I think the most important thing is communicating through you essays how important a career in nursing is to you. No one thing will guarantee you a spot, but being passionate about nursing and communicating that is a great start!

p.s. I really hope anna and 2012 get in too :)
