UH Manoa Nursing Fall 2014

Did anyone here apply for Fall 2014 admission to Manoa's School of Nursing? We're supposed to be notified in late March and I'm getting really anxious!

I went to uniforms hawaii for everything (you receive 10% off if you're a student) and I ordered my stethoscope through medisave.net. I got the littmann cardiology 3 and they engrave for free.

Did anyone get their scrubs yet? Every time I went to the bookstore, my size wasn't there. They said they'll call when they restock, but I'm afraid I won't have one in time for orientation

@loriexann: I'm stuck in the same situation! I've been on the call list since late June. I called to check again yesterday and they told me that they're expecting delivery within the next couple of weeks. Hopefully they arrive before orientation!!

@taylorcb & @loriexann: Omg same here I put my name on their inventory a long time ago but every time I check they don't have my size -____- I just want to buy them already so I don't have to worry about it.

Btw does anyone know if we have to wear our nursing polos for every lecture class?

I'm on the call list too!!! But I what did was I went and got a Medium size just incase it didn't come in on time. I still need to back and get the green polo.

@kianagal: Same here! I hope our sizes come in before orientation! Also, I'm pretty sure that we have to be in uniform for every class.

@taylor... Yups! I am only missing the pocket guide and drug guide and a medical dictionary. I ordered everything through Amazon they have free shipping if you have the prime. And it gets here pretty fast. :)

Where did you guys want to meet up? I have no idea where the technology center is and I plan on parking at the dole street parking.

Congratulations to you all for getting accepted into the program!!

Anyone interested in buying a used Pathophysiology book for $80? I'm selling it way cheaper than the used books online from Amazon or whatever, and can get it to you on your orientation day. Let know :)
