UH Manoa Nursing Fall 2014

Hey did anyone apply for Fall 2014 admission to Manoa's School of Nursing? We're supposed to be notified in late March and I'm getting really anxious!

I applied for Fall 2014! I keep checking my STAR account to see if anything has changed yet lol. Did you apply anywhere else? I only applied to KCC and Manoa so I better get into at least 1 of those :nailbiting: Those letters should be coming out really soon.. let me know when you get anything!

I applied too for Fall 2014! How did you do on the NLN?

@iheartnavy5 I actually took the TEAS because I heard that it was easier, and because it was cheaper and proctored at a later time. I got 89.3% total, 83.3% reading, 90% math, 87.5% science, 96.7% english. What did you get on the nln?

I looked at other people's scores and their admittance, and it's really surprising how some did well but still didn't make it.

Oh I see! I actually took both tests. I got a 138 composite on the NLN: 83 verbal, 94 math, and 96 science. For the TEAS I got 86.7% total, 95.2% reading, 86.7% math, 79.2% science, and 86.7% english. I took both because I barely didn't pass the TEAS the first time (I had just moved here) so I made sure I took both so I would pass :) Yeah I think it just depends on who applies and when, I've noticed the same thing! How is your GPA? I'm at 3.67. I literally am so anxious too!

I know some people who took the NLN and you scored a lot higher than they did, some got 50s on the verbal. I even saw someone with a 49. Yeah I wanted to do both tests too but I really wasn't prepared for the nln once I found out it was already in 2 weeks. You should keep checking your STAR account to see if your major standing changed! I have a 4.0 coreq and cumGPA!

Wow that's so good! I wish I had as good of stats as you! Yeah I'm checking it everyday I hope they send out letters sooner rather than later. The wait is killing me! After this semester literally the only other class I need to take is pharmacology so really hoping to get in. Good luck!!

Your nln scores are really high though!!! Let's just hope it's not a large pool of applicants. Yeah me too, our letters should be coming in anytime now! Yeah after this I just need pharm and statistics!

Im in stats right now. Take Karacaovali when you do take it, ECON 321 he's a really good professor. And thank you! Let's just hope my scores are high enough! If I get in, that means you will get in for sure lol

@loriexann I'm taking stats in the physical science building, and my STAR says Manoa Undergraduate BA/PNUR (Primary) Fall 2013 in the top right corner, did yours change? Also I went to advising today and she said they should be mailing out letters early next week!
