UH Manoa GEPN Cohort 2019

Published

Aloha!

The application cycle opened a few days ago and was wondering if anyone else is applying to the University of Hawaii's Graduate Entry Program in Nursing (GEPN) for fall 2019?

For any current students in the program, how is the first year of the program? Do you find it difficult to maintain a work/life balance?

I'm excited to finally be applying for the DNP-FNP program!

Good luck everyone! :nurse:

Hey I just applied to the GEPN FNP program yesterday. Good luck!

Awesome! I hope you get selected as well. I just received an email that they are forwarding my application to the admissions committee for review.

Same here, I got an email notification yesterday. They do first rounds of decisions in November right?

Yeah from previous posts I noticed people receiving decisions as early as October 27th. Hopefully it's that early this year too.

Aloha! I just submitted my application on Friday. Haven't heard whether it's been submitted for review yet. For those of you that are already submitted, how many days did it take for them to process?

Mahalo!

My Nursingcas application took about a week (received an email from Chris Stutes) and my UH application took about two weeks (sent me transcripts electronically and had to wait for them to open it up). Good luck!

Does anyone have any idea on how many slots there are for the FNP track?

I think it was 20 slots, but I'm not 100% sure.

Keeping this on my bookmark! Really can't wait for the result. Good luck to all of those applying!

I'm hoping the decisions will be sent out by this coming Friday! Can't wait!

Aloha! I submitted my application on Sep 4, patiently waiting on a decision, hopefully anyday now!
