We've all run into a "new nurse". What's the most memorable experience you ever had with a new nurse? Maybe it was something they said ??? Or, something they did? Good or bad share your story...

LOL, I hadn't been an RN for maybe 2 years and I had a male patient that when I went to insert a foley cath I couldn't maintain a grip on his member - I went to one of the older nurses who had been nursing forEVER...she came in, pushed down on the pubic area with one hand, took the other hand and got "ahold" of his member while at the same time retracting the foreskin all with one hand and then looked at me and said - okay, now! OMG I never forgot that and that was 20 years ago!!! And yes, I got that cath inserted!!!

My wife and I, both nurses, literally ROFL when we see a mutual friend posting on FB. She has an "RN" tattoo, she constantly reminds us she works for a nationally renowned hospital that is locally known for their poor nursing care, always showing the world her continuing education work, taking pics of her exciting career, pics in scrubs, the list goes on and on.
