I am starting a thread for UFV, Sept 2013 applicants (thus the title)
I am a Jan 2013 reject and hoping for a spot in the fall. Is anyone here a repeat applicant?
I wonder if I'd still want the break though....
Anyway, that's something to figure out towards end of first year (or first semester?). She told me in the interview not to worry about it now, and just see how you're doing in the program...then decide from there if you feel comfortable going straight into second year! But I'm definitely more intersted if you can get the ESN hours in. Thanks KimberS!
hello ,
i had my interview on Friday afternoon, and i got to say, it left me feeling like an empty feeling as all my energy was drained so yeap i am definitly waiting until may10. Sigh* I really dont know what to say about the interview. It was all a blur and I felt like i had been there soo long, but yeh it was only like 30 min. atleast that portion is over and we tried our best :) here's to waiting!:)

Yeah I originally wanted to do the fast track, but after talking to people currently in the program and graduated nurses, I was kind of convinced otherwise. The workload of the program is extremely intense and apparently the break between years is very much needed. Not to mention if you do the 4 year, you get your 400 or so hours to work in the summer as an ESN (about $25/hr I've heard and a great way to gain experience, which will help when you graduate). For me, I want the break and I'll need to work between years to pay my bills. But if the three year works for you, I say go for it! Would be nice to finish a year earlier!
