I am just finishing up my prereqs this semester and will have everything ready to go after I get my marks back from finals in a few weeks. I am excited/nervous! I am 24 and have been working at an eye surgery office for the past almost 4 years so have lots of hours to apply with. I feel old...! But I know in the big picture life is just beginning! Anybody else applying for the January 2016 intake? Or has anyone applied before and have any tips?
That's so exciting Jsandhu12! This long weekend is KILLING me I just want it to be tuesday already. I have been reading the previous years threads and am getting even more nervous. Does anyone know if all the interview requests went out already? Or if perhaps they do them in stages?
No, I am not really sure how any of this will play out, I guess if they are willing to give me an interview then I will write it then. Similar to people who live out of town and cannot attend the info sessions.
HI does anyone know if everyone with academic points 16 and 14 will get an interview or not?
Because I remember her saying during the orientation that work experience / volunteer hours and reference letters is also as important as a academic. Does anyone else got an invitation for interview??
Hey, I had 14 points and I got an interview. She was saying that the applicants with 16 and 14 points will receive interviews before the applicants with 12 points. But if you haven't heard anything yet then contact health sciences and they can let you know what's going on
I also had 14 points and was notified on Oct 1st that I got an interview. I think everyone with 14 and 16 points is guaranteed an interview if I remember correctly..
I attended the info session on Sept 30th, have 14 points for my prereqs and haven't heard anything back yet. I just emailed the Health Science office asking if they knew the final date of decisions for interviews.
