UFV January 2017 Applicants

Published

I've seen a couple pages like this for hopeful UFV nursing applicants and figured I'd make one for this coming intake. :)

I got an email for an interview too. I don't think I'll end up taking it as I just got word that I'm accepted elsewhere, I'm not sure though as I do still want to keep UFV in consideration. Best of luck to you all!

Please contact health studies tomorrow and ask what's going on with your application??

Have they not updated you at all? Definitely give them a call

No they have not. I emailed health studies this morning, so hopefully they let me know. Just want to know so i have all my options open and not just depend on this school.

Yeah that's smart to keep your options open!

Does anyone who went to Wednesday's info session have any advice?

Yeah if anyone has advice about the info session from yesterday and how it went it would be appreciated! Also how was the essay?

Hey guys!!

I applied too. Im so glad there is a thread that we can all chat.

So theres 70-75 applicants and 32 spots, its not too bad of odds, but Im still very anxious.:geek:

Is their grading scale for points on their website?

If you go to this website: Bad Request and scroll down to basis for admission decision (degree applicants) they have how the points are distributed/tabulated - only roughly

Hope this helps!

As for tips for the info session - make sure you're on time because you start writing the essay fairly quickly. Don't stress out about the essay - they give you plenty of time to write. And make sure to have your health questionnaire thingy filled out.

Does anyone what types of questions they ask at the interview?

And now the long wait begins. Haha. Good luck everyone!
