Ufv 2021 fall nursing

Hey everyone, 

This is a thread for everybody applying for the UFV Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program for the Fall (September) 2021 intake.

We can talk about our grades and GPA's, volunteer or work experience's, other schools we're applying to and so forth.

I submitted my application beginning of October when the applications opened up and applied with 3 A’s and 1 B in Pre calc 11. I also have about 800 hours at a hospital and 80 hours at a care home.

Hi Everyone!

I also applied to the program with 3 A's 1 B and had around 130 volunteer hours. On my portal it says "ready for reveiw by program" hopefully everyone hears back soon!

Hey everyone!

I applied for the Fall intake with and 3 A's and a B but also a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from UFV. Is anyone else applying with a degree/know if they consider this or only the pre-req courses? I also have over 100 hours of work/volunteer hours.

Hello, Is Pre-Calc 12 necessary for Nursing as I am thinking of dropping it because I do not need it.

Yeah you just need pre calc 11 from highschool or any math from any university.

Hi everyone! 
This will be my second time applying for Ufv! I also applied for January 2021 and made it to the interview however was not accepted due to the competitiveness of the program. I’m applying with 3 A’s and 1 B (which I’m in the process of upgrading) I’ve also completed both anatomy and physiology courses. I have around 170 volunteer hours with fraser health and am currently working as a behaviour interventionist with a healthcare company. Hoping things work out this time around! Good luck everyone ☺️

Hi guys! 

Since I am applying with a BSc I am unsure if my highschool or university classes will be considered. 

I have been working over a year at Vancouver General Hospital as a clerk and have accumulated over 1100 hours. I also have worked with the Canucks Autism Network and as a Behaviour Interventionist.
