i am almost done with my pre-reqs and was thinking about applying to uf. i was just wondering if anybody would be able to share their gpa wether they got in or not? i was also wanting to know if anybody had any advice about getting in? if you were accepted, do you like uf? i want to know realistically what my chances are so any help or advice would be great.

thanks in advance :yeah:

I just wanted to boost this post back up

Last I heard it was like the 3.7-3.8 area, but Im not totally sure. Ive been looking into UF but I haven't really been able to find much either

Thanks for replying! Was 3.7-3.8 for cumm GPA or science? When are you applying?

Hi there,

I just applied for UF nursing fall 2011 and I have a 3.77 prereq gpa, and 3.56 overall gpa. I won't find out if I get accepted until June, but i'll let you know. Have you applied too?

:)

Hi,

I also applied for the Generic BSN program at UF for fall 2011. I still haven't heard anything regarding my admission status. I applied as a transfer student. Hopefully we will hear back soon!

I heard for UF it is a lottery... I'm not sure how that would work. I have a 3.2 and got a 74 on the TEAS! UF is my last resort until I hear back from FGCU for spring semester... I'm freaking out I have been denied everywhere... Does anyone know any details or know anyone in the program? I may also do the accelerated program if it comes down to it.

As I stated in the other thread where you posted abs08, admissions for our program is not based on a lottery system.

OK, sorry, just figuring out how to use this site. I'm not sure where I heard about that either. I think my roommate who applied to UF also told me and it just stuck. I guess I will hope for the accelerated program in a year. Thank you UFCON

Does the UF CON require the TEAS for admission?

Specializes in Surgical Intensive Care.

It never asked for them when i was applying. :)
