UF Generic Nursing 2010

Published

Hey! So has anyone applied for Fall 2010.? What is your GPA and where are you transferring from. I currently have a 3.1. I am taking Micro and A&P II and I'm sure I will get A's in both of those to help my GPA go up. Do I stand a chance? Not to happy about my GPA though. Chemistry killed me. I got a C. I'm going to be a transfer from Santa Fe College.

Keep me posted! =] Good Luck to everyone. :)

I can't see if I got in or not... the CoN placed a registration hold on my account though, it now says I can't register for anything until I speak with a pre-nursing advisor. I wonder if this means I got in?

I'm a UF student who applied for this fall, as well, and I have that same hold on my record. I have no idea what it means. I tried to check using the Admissions tab on ISIS but it just brought me to my acceptance letter from when I applied to UF as a freshman. I'm so worried!

I am a UF student but I don't have a hold on my account. Man I am so nervous.

Are you sure? Did you go through registration prep?

yeah. Does your college and major say nursing?

Yeah I did not get in .... This is my third rejection and so i now have to find schools that have the traditional bsn program enrollment in spring. Does any of you guys know of any school in florida with the Traditional BSN program and offer spring enrollement? I could really use the help!!!

i am a transfer student so maybe thats y i can c mine on isis. im not sure how to c if u got in, if ur already a UF student. but acceptance letters should be here 2marow!! i think if u get a small letter in the mail u didnt get in, if u get a big letter than ur in!!

yeah. Does your college and major say nursing?

Yeah both are still nursing. I don't know if the hold is a good thing or a bad thing. Ughh this is torture!

Hey acceptance letters should be mailed already! Just wanted to say good luck to everyone!

Specializes in ICU, Intermediate Care, Progressive Care.

Got my rejection letter earlier today. I am a bit sad that I basically wasted two years of my life on prerequisites at UF when I could have already been well on my way through an ADN program at the local C.C., but in any case, I'll just start the ADN program and go from there. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason.

To everyone else who didn't get in -- good luck with everything and know that God or Fate or whatever higher power you may believe in clearly has different plans for you.

To everyone who got in, I'm very happy for you and I hope that you have a rewarding nursing school experience at UF!

Waitlisted. Trying to stay hopeful.

good luck. do you know when you find out?

Sometime after July 9th.
