I haven't seen a thread for the traditional BSN program for fall of 2019, so I decided to make one! Applications opened November 9th!
Here's a few stats about me!
In December, I will graduate with my AA from College of Central Florida so I will be applying as a transfer student!
My cumulative GPA is a 3.5
My pre req GPA is a 3.7
Any nursing students that have been admitted, do you have any advice/suggestions for applications? I saw that this year is the first year we have to take the HESI A2 exam, but anything helps!
I am also applying to UCF's nursing program. I haven't decided on any others but I need to look into a few more.

So I spoke to Wanda the advisor last Wednesday and she said it’ll be somewhere in the second half of May. She said last year was a good year (they released May 11th last year) but she suspects it’ll definitely be the second half of May.
Hi everyone! I’m applying as a transfer student and I did not realize just how unlikely it may be to get in as a transfer. My gpa is a 3.9 and I have some experience volunteering at a hospital. I felt my responses to the 10 question essays were solid. My hesi score wasn’t that great, I got a 71% overall. I scored 80’s on everything expect biology. Are the chances really that bad for transfers?

Usually less than 10 transfers are accepted, according to Wanda.

Look up “UF Demographics Enrollment” and it should take you to a page with a huge graph with circles on it. You can modify the graph by school year, college, student subtype, graduate/undergraduate and major. Find nursing and narrow it down to undergraduate, UF Main, and sophomores (lower division). Keep in mind this is only how many UF students are applying and it’s not EXACTLY how many, since some people apply their freshman year if they come in with their AA, but it’ll give you a rough estimate. According to the site there’s about roughly 172 sophomores this year.
Also comes in handy for future applicants ?
