I haven't seen a thread for the traditional BSN program for fall of 2019, so I decided to make one! Applications opened November 9th!
Here's a few stats about me!
In December, I will graduate with my AA from College of Central Florida so I will be applying as a transfer student!
My cumulative GPA is a 3.5
My pre req GPA is a 3.7
Any nursing students that have been admitted, do you have any advice/suggestions for applications? I saw that this year is the first year we have to take the HESI A2 exam, but anything helps!
I am also applying to UCF's nursing program. I haven't decided on any others but I need to look into a few more.
I didn’t do as well as id like to have done on the HESI.. I got a 71% & my gpa is 3.77
but I worked really hard for over a month on all of my questions & put my heart into it (cheesy I know lol)
I received the assessment so I’m assuming that they look at you overall as a student/person. It’s not just about a high GPA/test scores.
I contacted UF this week and they said decisions will be released end of May - beginning of June.
I am a transfer from UCF with a 3.911 overall GPA (got a B in Microbio). I scored a 87 on the HESIA2 exam. I have volunteer experience at Winnie Palmer Hospital and am a member of a pre-nursing club for the past two years.

Are you serious?? I just might cry! I was hoping with all my heart that they’d release decisions earlier this year. When I emailed Mr. Foote about 2 weeks ago he said decisions should be out around the same time. According to our demographics page a lot less people applied this year. I really hope they overestimated that ?

Yes, I just received an email stating I passed Phase 1. Now have to take a personality assessment. I took it last year and it is very simple, just scenario based situations and how you would act or feel about the situation.
