UF BSN to DNP Fall 2019

Published

Hi everyone! I’m surprised a thread hasn’t already been posted yet. Is anyone else applying to UF’s DNP program? ?

Was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their acceptance or ideals? In planning to apply for this for fall 2020 but my gpa is a 2.89 I have not taken the GRE yet but I have great letters of recommendation. Is there any hope??

Did anyone here get into FNP without meeting the minimum score requirement for GRE?

My GPA was around 3.5 and I think I got 151/159 on my GRE. But I know some people who did not meet criteria and got it... I think they really value the essay and look at application rate.

Hi everyone! Has anyone made it to the agacnp program at UF? Wanted to know what it’s like ?

A year in now. So far everything has been didactic and online, much like other programs. I think the perk of going to UF is that they will help assign clinicals for you and you have so many clinical options. Courses aren't too intense, just a lot of busy work.

Thanks so much! I live in South Fl, 4 hours away from UF. Do you think you think its possible for me to attend ? Do you know if clinicals have to be in Gainesville?

no, clinicals do not have to be in Gainesville, but is definitely easier bc they can place in you in clinicals if you don't have a preceptor or unit in mind. Yes we have several students from all around florida and a few out of state. Not a lot of in person things that require you on campus so far (that being said, COVID has had some influence)

Hey guys!

would any of you that got in mind sharing GPA s experience etc? I applied with around 4 years of good experience in various great hospitals... did volunteering etc but my GPA when graduating my BSN is just above the 3. The gre was waived due to covid... is there any hope? I’m stressed because it s like another more month before hearing back!!
