Hi all! Thought I would start this thread for the upcoming new grad cohort at UCSF for Spring 2022.
From what I've seen on the website, the application period opens on Saturday, January 8 and goes until Saturday, January 15. No lists of which departments are hiring this go around. Must have your license by March 4th. The program starts on April 4th.
I applied last go around, but I didn't have a test date yet. Hoping I can get in this time!
Has anyone done a peer interview? Is it behavioral questions?
I haven't done a peer interview but have asked about one when I saw it during my immersion. From my understanding, it's for you to learn more about the culture of the unit from an inside perspective & to see if you fit in to their culture/would get along with your coworkers. There may be behavioral questions related to teamwork/communication.
I know neuro ICU and neurosciences went “under review” for some people earlier this week. Does anyone know if they have started interviews for those units? Seems a little late

I think that they just have a lot of applications to go through and each unit operates as its own. Probably takes a long time to actually look at all of them.
Anyone hear from the Cardiac ICU (ICC)? I had my interview last week, provided referernces, but haven't heard anything yet. They said by end of this week or next, just asking because I'm impatient :)
