I am starting this thread to keep everyone informed as to the process at UCSF 2012 New Grad Training Program.

Have they started calling people for Adult Acute Care? Or have they done calling? Am so nervous. My 5th reference person has just submitted the survey for me ... :(

Is this something that is done after interviews? I don't remember that portion on the initial application.

No, this is prior to interview (7/16). I received a call (and email) from NR last week about this survey.

It seems like for the Peds, PICU peeps, there isn't much word yet... oy, the pressure already!

According to HR, all peds candidates have already been selected for an interview. I don't know if calls are still being made but the HR rep said if you haven't gotten a call you can assume you weren't selected.

i hate to be the bearer of bad news but i talked to HR an hour ago and was informed that the PICU managers have already contacted those they wanted for interview

I am also in the same boat. I have not heard back from the recruiter yet after the reference or survey check. She said that interviews will be starting on the week of july 16.

If you don't mind me asking, what unit were you contacted for?

The nurse recruiter said that she would be in contact with me soon with the information about the interview time/date. I called today and left a message, so i'll keep you updated with the info.
