UCSF New Grad Residency Program 2016

Hi everyone!

UCSF had several New Grad positions available for their residency program, which is scheduled to start in May 2016. Did anyone else apply?

Does anyone have any insight into the application, interview process or have anything else they would like to discuss?

You're welcome. I have tried contacting HR many times via phone but it seemed I could never get ahold of someone. I used the general email address provided on the HR website ([email protected]), they responded fairly quick :)

Hi :) I think it was perinatal. I hope so too! I'll be sure to post anything I hear. I know each unit goes at their own pace and some might have more apps to go through than others. The waiting game is tough. Hang in there guys

Hi everyone! I will be interviewing in med/surg. I'm really excited. I didn't keep a copy of the job posting when I applied, and so now I can't remember a couple of specifics. The program starts end of May, but does anybody remember the exact date? Also, does anybody know the schedule for training (as in didactic, preceptorship, etc.)? Good luck to everyone

I believe it starts May 28. I believe the training is different for each unit. Good luck on your interview!

Hi :) It looks like the program starts May 23. Did you interview yet? After mine I received a summary of what's to expect for notifications if we're accepted and for the progress of the program. I'm not sure if it's the same for every unit so I wouldn't want to confuse you by posting different information!
