UCSF New Grad Residency Program 2016

Published

Hi everyone!

UCSF had several New Grad positions available for their residency program, which is scheduled to start in May 2016. Did anyone else apply?

Does anyone have any insight into the application, interview process or have anything else they would like to discuss?

Good luck to everyone :)

Search this forum for UCSF and you'll find several threads from previous application cycles.

Hi KL10! I also applied and am curious if anyone has any updates about what the timeline looks like for HR to begin calling back for interviews. Has anyone heard back? Thank you!

Hi RNRachael,

Glad to know that someone else applied :) I tried contacting HR but haven't heard anything about the timeline. I am hoping to hear something soon.

Hi there, I also applied to this program. I contacted HR a couple weeks ago and they said the goal was to notify candidates by 2/22 but I don't know of anyone who has heard anything. Don't mean to freak anyone out, but hopefully soon we will know something! From looking at the last thread it looks like they contacted them about a month after the application was submitted. I hope this helps!

Just emailed again - "They should have candidates identified by March 1st." I'm not sure if that means candidates will be contacted by then, or if that's when they will start making calls. Good luck!

I also applied to this program. Has anyone been called for an interview yet? In the past it looks like some units get back to applicants faster than others.

Hi Mgnursing, Still haven't heard anything yet! Will keep you posted. Which unit did you apply to?

I applied to the ICN. Did you apply to more than one unit?

No, I didn't but I really wanted to and I don't know what stopped me. Did you apply to more than one unit? I applied to Perinatal.

I only applied to one unit as well.

I just got an email from the Recruiting Coordinator and I am not sure if this goes for everyone or just the perinatal applicants. They will be notifying applicants by March 21st. I hope this helps!

Has anyone else contacted HR regarding additional information?

Good Luck to everyone :)
