Has anyone applied for UCSF's MSN program for fall of 2015?
I live in Morgan Hill south of San Jose and I'm also looking for any affordable housing since traffic is horrible around SF. I know for sure housing in SF is expensive. Here's link so far for housing info. Housing and Commuting | UCSF Graduate Division. I was reviewing at 2014 FNP's curriculum and it seems that classes were held Monday through Friday, Wednesdays were pretty much all day.
Hi everyone! I can't believe I didn't find this thread until now (and I've been looking, I promise!)
I applied to the CNM/WHNP tract this year (for the first time) and haven't heard back yet. I interviewed last week over Skype so now it's just wait, wait, wait I guess. They were so nice and the program is so impressive. Fingers crossed.
Nice to connect with the group. Better late than never.
Hello Rebeccas23!
I'm starting the FNP program in Fall 2015 but I have no clue why they did not interview me. Therefore, I was surprise when I signed on online and found out I was accepted. Do you know if they interview for every specialty? I'm just curious. Good luck and hope you'll get in. BTW are you from the bay area?

Bizarre! I thought that they interviewed everyone, but obviously I'm wrong. That has just been my experience with other schools at least.
Maybe when they're sorting applications they have three piles: "Definitely," "Maybe," and "Absolutely Not." Perhaps they only interview the "Maybe" pile :)
I haven't posted in a while but I was also accepted to the PMHNP program a couple weeks ago :) I'm hoping to work at least per diem while I'm in school.
Are most of you all already located in the Bay Area? For the fellow PMHNP nurses - just out of curiosity do you have actual psych experience as a RN?
