Hi, I searched for a thread for the UCSF MEPN 2021 cohort, but did see any. I hope this help. I am looking to apply for the CNM/WHNP speciality. I wish everyone one of us all the best n our application.

If its anything like last year we'll have interviews mid-January and decisions should be out by mid-February, but who knows with how things have been in 2020.

My wife knows people affiliated with the program and apparently there have been many more applicants than usual. I can't speak at all to how they all are but there are more this cycle, which is difficult to hear because it is indeed already competitive. But, we will have to hope for the best and stay positive.

I think they will send an email on or after the 15 regarding interviews. I assume this because I saw an update saying that the 15 of December was when final transcripts and courses need to be submitted, so I think based on that they can further confirm who is eligible and who is not

Hi there,

How did you choose both specialties? I thought you could only choose one specialty with no flexibility to change.

Hi!

This is actually a combo specialty offered where you are eligible for both certifications when the program is completed. Essentially you have to be a NP in order to become a CNM.
