UCSF MEPN 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

With just a few weeks to go before the application opens...

Any thoughts, questions, advice or information to share as we anxiously prepare?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the decisions aren't coming out until Tuesday. Apparently there was nobody in the Grad division to sign off on the decisions today and then there is a holiday Monday. Sigh.

Thanks for letting us know, anrox! At least there is a set date now. Have a good weekend, everybody. See you here next week ;)

Hey guys - as we anxiously await today just wanted to send best of luck to you all!:D

No_LiesJustLove, I just saw your PM and typed out a long response but got a notice that I haven't made enough posts yet to send PM's. :-(

But I would love to chat with you more, so if you send a PM with your email, I'll email you my contact info.

Anyone heard anything yet?

Just heard back, didn't get in this time. But I feel fortunate to have made it to the interview process and now I can focus on honing my answers and gaining more experience before I apply again in the fall.

Good luck to the rest of you!

Specializes in PMHNP.

I just got waitlisted for the PMHNP! Dang. :-(

Hey caitlynfb, I'm sorry you weren't offer admission. I'm glad you had a good experience and I hope you will apply again!

Thanks for all your support guys and I will see some of you guys in the summer. I was offered admission for FNP. It's been a long time coming but I'm happy beyond words and I'm still shaking from all the excitement right now.

Waitlisted for FNP for me....

Congratulations!!! Was this the first time you applied?

I got in for PMHNP!!! I'm still keeping fingers and toes crossed for everyone still waiting or waitlisted. :)

I am so sorry for those of you who did not get in.

I have been offered and I have accepted a spot in the CNM/WHNP program! I have been working towards being a CNM for 13 years. I was accepted to nursing school 9 years ago but declined the position because I had a newborn and knew I wouldn't be able to stand being seperated from my little baby for the demands of nursing school. I cannot even begin to express the joy and accomplishment I am feeling in this moment.

Are the MEPN FB groups started by accepted students, should I start a 2017 MEPN group?

I am happy to help answer questions for anyone moving to the area. I have lived in the area for almost 8 years.

This is a long-shot, but will anyone else be commuting from Castro Valley Area?
