I thought I would start a new thread. I've read quite a bit of the activity from previous classes and I thought it would be great to get a community of support started for those who have applied for UCSF's MEPN program... not just for us now, but for the future applicants who will read our posts! (: (the added bonus is this thread will be in gender neutral territory
Would love to hear the stories of folks who are applying to nursing programs (UCSF and otherwise).
Its been a week, I still cannot log-in. Its weird, you think they would have sent a mass email or something. Maybe some people can as they go through them.
I couldn't get into the system if I went through their main website. However, this link that I have saved on my "favorites" seemed to do the trick: https://graduate.ucsf.edu/application/apply/mepn/2010/start.html. Then click on "returning applicants" and you should be able to log-in.
Thanks, I tried that and it worked! Do you all show transcripts as "Not Available"? I ordered mine months ago, so they should have them. I am wondering if it just takes a while to match them up with all the completed applications or if I should worry! :uhoh21:
Hmm... My transcripts show as "Received" and I ordered them in August. I know it does take a while for the school to match them up, but it seems like you ordered yours way before I ordered mine. Did order them before the application cycle began?
My two transcripts both say not available even though I have fedex delivery confirmation with the name of the person who signed for them. It's good to know I'm not the only one and sounds like nothing to worry about :)
Mine also say "not available" and I sent mine in July, so I 'm sure they received them. I wouldn't worry too much about it yet! In fact, I think i remember seeing them marked as received at one point in the app process, which is a little strange, but it probably just means they're going through each applicants file and double checking everything. On another note, I was thinking about the earlier submission date this year and wondering if it's just to give them more time, or because they anticipated receiving more apps? Or MAYBE, just maybe, it's so they can give us a response a little earlier?? That's probably not it, but a girl can dream, right??:)

Protongirl, I was able to log-in to the UCSF website today to check on my status. So, it should be working now!
