UCSF Fall 2024 New Nurse Residency Training Program (NNRTP)

Applications open this week. Please share any info! Hope everyone's meet & greet went well. Good luck 🙂

In another group I'm in, there seems to be a theory on why in some people's application status it says "Application Received" vs. "Recruiter Review" ... and that is that for those w/ an "Application Received" status still, it means their application was rejected (and didn't move on to the recruiter review level) for some reason. Does anyone know if this is the case? Or could it just mean they haven't gotten to those applicants yet? It doesn't appear to have anything to do with date of application submission or unit. TIA!

That would make sense to me because someone also said that starting Monday 07/29 interview procress stuff begins ...and given how other apps have been where people are progressing while others still say recieved or completed later get the rejection.

Did they at any point mention how many people they are hiring per specialty? It seems like maybe a bit more for med/surg or ICU type units, but what about Adult OR?

I recall them saying about 35 positions and it varies about the units. Like ICN said 4 openings

Has anyone received the "Under Consideration" step on the application process? If so, congrats! But please do share any info, if you have received it. TIA!

I am not 100% sure, I saw someone said the interview process would possibly start July 29. So I just wanted to see if anyone has gotten any updates. Sorry if I scared anyone!

I think they just haven't gotten to all the applications. Mine just changed today the 28th to recruiter review.

I'm guessing this probably isn't going to happen until sometime during the coming week given that its the weekend and the volume of applicants.

Did anyone else choose pediatric OR and know many will be selected for that specialty?

My application finally changed to recruiter review today, and I submitted my app on 7/14, yay 🙂 I applied for Peds!
