UCSD New Grad Residency July 2022

Hi all! I wanted to start a topic for the July 2022 UCSD residency program applications since they close today! My first choice unit is ICU & I will graduate in early May. Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone! It's great to connect with all of you! 

I got referred to hiring on 4/4! This might be a long shot, but does anyone have any general insight on how UCSD is going to conduct this application cycle (since this is the first time UCSD is doing one application for all available positions)? Any insight is appreciated!

I just checked mine and it has not change at all. Mine still says "Received?"

hello all, thanks for starting this thread! My status also changed on to referred to Hiring Dept. I chose ICU for my first choice. BSN, graduating in May. Good luck to all.

I applied to nicu and mine changed last week to referred to hiring.

Hello, I just check the status of my application today and it stated "open" does anyone know what that means?

I have not. I’ve been anxiously awaiting. I’ve always heard that labor and delivery/nicu take much longer to process applications and interviews. Probably bc they have a large amount of applicants. Have you heard anything?

Hi I am graduating in May with a BSN. Does UCSD have new grad programs in the NICU? I am look for a NICU new grad program, I have lot's of clinical experience in the NICU. Any suggestions? I am looking into Rady Children's and SHARP as well.
