UCSD New Grad Residency Jan/Feb 2022

Hello everyone! New Grad Nurse here! Just graduated and wondering if anyone else has applied to the UCSD New Grad Residency? Don’t know if anyone who has applied yet has heard back? My statuses just say “open”.

I applied last minute but not sure if I'm even applicable for the position. I graduate in December, so I don't think I would have my license by their desired start dates, but I just thought I'd apply just in case. I believe the job status says "open" indicating they didn't hire anyone yet. My application is still under "received."

Also, I just had a question in general for their application. How in depth did you go into their questions I.e. why nursing? I only wrote a couple of sentences but am wondering if I should go more in depth moving forward with future applications!

Yes, I’ve heard Med Surg and some PCU have given interviews already.

for cardiac pcu 3b mine changed to "interviewed-pending decision" yesterday. other units have switched to "referred to hiring department" and "consideration for interview". what about you?

Same here! rest were either received, referred, but IMU was in consideration. 
 I hope 3B gets back to us soon, I heard there’s only one position available. If you get an offer do you mind posting it on here? It’ll put me out of my misery LOL

Those of you that heard back: did you hear back from hillcrest or La Jolla? Also, did anyone apply to L&d?

I applied to 4 positions. The one I wanted the most is L&D but I am worried because my status just says "application received". Has your status changed?
