UCONN CEIN 2014

Has anyone heard back for the CEIN 2014 class??

I got an email, followed by a letter a week or two later.

I have essentially no past nursing experience. The closest activity (which I wrote about) was volunteering at a nursing home. I did my best to play up (without lying) the one on one time I spent with the elderly.

Why are you concerned about your recommendation letters?

I emailed one of the faculties about a week ago and she said that they are still making decisions. I am so anxious that and worried as well. My boss told me that he forgot to sign across the letter when he gave it to them and I don't even know if he used the form I emailed to him :/. Besides that I got really good grades on everything else. The lowest grade is a B+. So hopefully they won't use the formality of the letter of recommendation to against me ;(. I also did not have any experience but I'm not worried about that part. They say it will only benefit you, but having experience or not wont be a make or break deal for them.

They told me they were going to review me in the August review, then more specifically on Sept 9th, for the Stamford campus. Have not heard back yet. Has anybody in the Aug review heard back?

Hey,

I have not heard back yet and I am worried too. Although I sent everything in, I never received any confirmation that they received everything. Did anyone get any email that ones application is complete? i just called to ask and they said decisions are being mailed out this week and next week.

Best of luck to everyone!

Julia

I heard back last week with a positive for avery point. I heard via email and was told to expect paper mail.

Hope this helps.

Hi everyone,

I sent in my application for the August review and received an email last week informing me I'd been accepted to the Stamford campus. I was nervous because I didn't have my official school transcripts for one of my classes in time for the deadline. I spoke to a woman in admissions and she said that it was fine if I sent in a grade report as a temporary replacement. I was nervous this would affect my acceptance, but I guess not. Congrats to everyone who has heard back so far and I'm anxious to meet you at orientation in October.

Congrats to all accepted!

And oooh boy, even more nervous now...

I'm just wondering, did the people who got emails saying they were accepted, ask first by email? Or did the school just send you an email without you asking about your status?

I received the email without asking on September 11. It said that they would be sending out further information via mail within the next two weeks.

Thanks. Do you know what faculty member contacted you?
