Hi There,I'm in the pre-nursing stage and looking at programs in my area. I am very interested in the University of Connecticut. I have been told by my advisors to forget about it as it is almost impossible to get in. Does anyone have any insight into this program?
Thanks!
HELLO THERE,
A CLOSE FRIEND OF MINE TRANSFERED TO UCONN FROM GOODWIN COLLEGE (IT WAS A LOT CHEAPER). HER SISTER DID TOO AND GOT IN QUICK. I WOULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT OTHER TELL YOU. IT MAY NOT BE THE CASE WITH YOU:)
Hello!!!! Fellow CT person here!!!
I am starting the Nursing program at NAugatuck in August. I have heared mixed reviews about Uconns program. Some say that the 4 year program really gave them good academic foundation but they felt like they lacked something in the applications and clinicals. I had a coworker do the 1year bridge program and he said it wasnt too bad.
All of the courses around the state are competative. Good luck in whatever decision you make!!
