Hi! I'm applying to the LPN to BSN program for Fall 2015. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea what my schedule will be like? Also I need to turn in a copy of my TEAS test but there's no score requirement. Can some one give me a ball park range. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Sierrarox I am in the program right now. There isn't a requirement for the TEAS score for LPN applicants. And for my group our first semester was 10 credit hours:
1st 8 weeks = 4hours of "Concepts 1"
2nd 8 weeks = 4 hours of "Concepts 2"
2nd 8 weeks =2 hours of "Service Learning/Health Promotion"
For some of us it was 13 hours with the "Indv/Fam Dev Through the Lifespan" (have you taken that course yet?) Also it is highly recommended to take Pharmacology as LPNs are not required to have it and in the last semester of the program you take Pharm II! PM with if you want to discuss things further. I can tell you all about what to expect. This is now my second semester in the program.

Unfortunately it wont let me PM because I haven't made more than 15 post. I wonder if there is another way, besides placing my email on here. lol I enrolled yesterday and I'm in Ind/Fam Dev with Fister I am trying to get out of the course because I have taken the same class at OCCC. My other classes are Concepts 1 & 2 4pm -750pm with Arnold and Service and learning 430-815 with Dean. I was wondering how much time studying do you spend and what your recommendations are about work. Would it be crazy to work full time and be in school? I'm thinking part time is the best way, I'm just wondering how many hours/days. I think its kinda crazy how they don't inform us about the program where as LPN school kinda laid it out for us. I have orientation in June, maybe I will get more details then. Thanks!

Hello, I just learned of this program today. I started at UCO years ago and left to complete my LPN (4 years now) and wish to complete my BSN. Would love even more to complete it at UCO. How are you liking the program thus far? How difficult is the application portion? Any helpful tips that you could share regarding this program? Thanks! Hope to hear from you soon.

I plan on applying at UCO after completing my LPN! I was just curious, do they require a year of LPN experience of health care experience in general? Thank you!
