UCLA New Grad Winter 2015

Published

Does anyone have an idea when the applications go up for the Winter 2015 cohort for UCLA RN new grad residency? Also, what is the minimum GPA required to apply? I have heard different things; some such as GPA at UCLA matters to an extent and others say that you need an extremely high GPA. My GPA is not low by any means, but it is average. Thanks!

Has anybody had their status changed to 'routed to hiring supervisor'? on 10/20 ,

Hi HopefulRN4! I haven't received a status change, but it seems like you did? If so, CONGRATS! :) Can I ask what units you applied to?

I applied to observation tele, medical ICU, and cardiac thoracic ICU! I applied internally, so don't lose hope anyone! I have several classmates who applied externally whose status has not changed yet either, and others who applied internally who either have or have not. Don't worry! Keep your heads up! I think my status JUST changed today. Keep checking! :) Good luck to all! I'll keep posted on here.

Thanks for replying :) best of luck to you in whichever unit you got routed to! Keep us posted :D I'm still waiting to for a change too fourland! :bag:

Congratulations :) Mine used to that but in 10/23 changed to pending online asses and now it is online assessment completed :(

I aplied med/surg and CCU

Congrats!! Mine is still "Online Assessment Completed" :(

Wondering application status for those who are scheduled for interview will be updated ONLY today??

Hi fourland! I spoke with HR earlier today and they said they are still going through applications and they won't be done until mid-November, so I believe that you can still see an application status change until then!

Hi cas0503, thanks so much for HUGE favor. :)

I applied CCU, Surgical/Transplant ICU, and MICU.

Stay positive now!

Mid Nov ?! aghh, I wish it could be faster :( , dont like the unknown,

that is so far from now! at least it seems like. good luck everyone!!! :)

Tee last time I applied ( for the sept 2014 residency )... i got a request for an interview 7 weeks after applying. ( This was for SICU ) Its only been a few weeks since applications closed so dont even think about losing hope yet!
