UCLA New Grad Winter 2015

Does anyone have an idea when the applications go up for the Winter 2015 cohort for UCLA RN new grad residency? Also, what is the minimum GPA required to apply? I have heard different things; some such as GPA at UCLA matters to an extent and others say that you need an extremely high GPA. My GPA is not low by any means, but it is average. Thanks!

The application closed yesterday. But this would be a good thread to discuss the process. Does anyone know when we'll hear about interviews? I heard they don't do phone or Skype interviews. Which units did you put as your first, second and third choices?

Hi Kelsey! I applied internally! They said on the website that interviews will take place December 1st through 8th. The original interviews at least. I am sure the next week also. I applied to observation/telemetry, medical ICU, & cardiacthoracic ICU. :)

I applied to this program on October 6th and it says on my application status that all documents have been received. Would it be wise to follow up with HR or just wait until they give me a call?

I applied as well. I know its a long shot, but I chose ER, medical icu, and cardiothoracic icu. Anybody know how long it tends to be before they start making calls?

Hmm in 2011 around the 14th some people's said "not selected" or "alternate candidate". And then on the 15th people got emails for the next steps" so hopefully we'll all get that email soon!

What question did you ask about the recommendations? My status hasn't changed yet but the year I linked the applications closed the 9th whereas ours closed the 11th, so hopefully by Monday?
