UCLA New Grad Winter 2025 Cohort

Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for the Winter 2025 Cohort at UCLA. Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!

The application opened up today 09/06! Good luck to all of us ❤️

has anyone had interviews in the past with UCLA?  if so do u guys remember the types of questions they asked?

They were the basic behavioral questions and depending on your floor you could be asked a case study. I got asked a case study for the geriatric unit. For others I heard it was just one question " tell me about yourself?"

I had mostly behavioral questions and 2 clinical questions! For behavioral they asked: tell me about yourself?, why do you want to work at UCLA?, specific unit questions like: why do you want to work in the ICU?, tell me a time where you made a good impact on a patient, tell me a time where you had a difficult patient and how did you deal with it, did you ever have a disagreement with a coworker and how did you resolve it? 
 

For the clinical questions they gave me a prioritization question, and nursing interventions that I would do for that scenario.

I got an email that my  application was forwarded to the hiring manager, crossing my fingers to be contacted for an interview ☺️!!

Did your emails specify which unit(s) it was sent to? Mine just said hiring manager

When did you apply? That's great news! I haven't heard anything I did apply the last day the application was open 😕

I applied the last day and saw that mine was referred to the hiring manager by the end of the week, and received an email stating the same yesterday. But I just checked my profile and it says "In Review" now. Did anyone else's change to "In Review?”
