UCLA New Grad RN 2013

Hello to all prospective UCLA Nurses!

My name is Matthew and I'm a CSU Long Beach alumnus.

I'm currently working as a Super User RN for the UCLA Health System.

I hope this thread will be able to answer our questions about the application, interview process and a place for any updates anyone receives for the 2013 new grad program.

With that said, I was told by recruitment that applications will be made available in March. :)

Well Graceful88 I look forward to the possibility of meeting you, though I do think it is weird that our times overlap since the email said the interview would be an hour, but we shall see how it goes. Good luck!!

No, no clinical questions. the only clinical based questions were previous examples of how you changed an outcome, or what the most impressive clinical thing you did in nursing school (i think i came off stumped!! all the prep in the world and I flubbed! :(

I applied to Med surg, Tele, and geriatrics. I interviewed with Gero, but havent heard anything back. :( How bout you guys?

I had my interview for Oncology today - it is a stress-free setting and the UD is very nice. I am not sure I aced the interview though but I did my best! It was overall a good experience but I know everyone getting interviewed is highly qualified.
