congrats! where are you moving from? where is wv? did you have any previous icu experience? what do you think you did during the interview that made you stand out?

How exciting for all three of you!!!!! A lot to be thankful for tomorrow :)

I'm looking forward to trying to get my mind off the wait with lots of food!

did you interview in april also? did you get that position and have to defer til 2012?

what do you think helped you? any tough clinical questions?

Hey Always Smile,

Did you get interviewed for Med/Surg Orthopedics?

Hi J Mac, RN,

Sorry for my late reply - Yup, I did interview there.

Congrats to those who got job offers :yeah:What a huge accomplishment and best of luck! UCLA will make great nurses out of you :)

MrNurse2011

congrats!

how do they do 2nd interviews if you don't live in LA?

if you haven't heard back already about a 2nd interview should you assume rejection?

I am moving from the state of wv...the east coast....I did my leadership rotation my senior year on a ctu and I work as a nurse aid also. Not sure if i did anything special to stand out I just was being myself. I think a lot of people are finding themselves too worried about perfection. You just need to be able to think critically work as a team and communicate. most managers can sense that immediately. my advice is to just be yourself.

thanks

whatever you did it definitely worked

you beat out a lot of tough competition

majesticred,

Congrats...

Did you already pass the Boards in your state and do you already have a CA RN license?

I graduate next month and taking my boards in jan...getting licensed in CA

Majesticred: when do you begin? mine is the third week of Jan. Not sure if all of the new grads start the same general orientation.
