Thank you for letting me know, NewGradRN_Rose. I was starting to worry that they weren't considering ADNs. Keeping my fingers crossed that my phone rings!
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I know for a fact that UCLA takes a few ADN's every cohort. I know of 3 from the Summer cohort and 2 from the one before that. I know it's hard and I think we just have to do everything possible to make ourselves stand out. Good luck, girl. Where did you apply?

Thank you! I know 5 ADN's that I went to school with were hired previously, but I thought maybe they changed it this time and decided to go with all BSNs.
I applied to L&D, ER and Psych. This waiting is so hard!
att020506,What other certifications and classes have you been taking?
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, EPNC (emergency pediatric nursing course), Regional Perinatal System's Maternal Newborn Care Course. Plus some CEU classes, Neonatal Critical Care Course & The STABLE Program. I really want to get into a NICU so i took extra courses relating to NICU. This is my first time getting call backs so I have to say, it helps!

That's awesome! I wish you the best of luck!! Do you live in California? I've been trying to look for a EPNC class that I could take but I can't find any around me! I'm applying for ER and I know many times they like/require that course!
