ICU and ER calls may or may not be done, I am sure you will know by next week though. I really do not think anyone on this forum, unless they work at UCLA, really knows the answer to this question. Its possible they called out of state people first to arrange flights, but this may not be the case either. Way too much hearsay on this forum already that simply adds to the already built-up anxiety of many.

does anyone else have an interview for cardiothoracic icu or know anyone who does?

I picked ct ICU

Of course this forum is hearsay I would hope that no one believes everything on here however I don't think people need to get anxious about it. Just call and check on the status of your app.. btw do you have an interview are u associate or bsn

I picked ct ICU

do u have an interview?

They don't mind if we call to check?

And they actually tell you something?

yes they did when I called...probably if they tell u they are still making calls you probably aren't being considered

Are they vague about it? Or do they tell you what is going on with your application? Do they just say "We are still making calls?" I guess I will call tomorrow.

pls pass on what you find out. thank you!

so when you actually called..you specifically asked what's the status of your application??? what did they say? did they give you an interview right on that spot when you called? i don't understand what you mean by "if they tell you they are still making calls you probably aren't being considered."

When I called they did give me information on my application. They actually told me my interview date but not time. So i am confused as to why they are not giving you information unless you are interviewing on the 15th. Normally human resources department give you at least 2 weeks to prepare for an interview no less than 1/2 (coming from a person that works in the human resources department at the hospital i currently work at as a CA)
