UCLA New Grad RN Fall 2021

Hi,

Is anyone else interviewing for a new grad RN position at UCLA? I have an interview scheduled in a couple of weeks for the ICU and I haven’t seen many people talking about their new grad program so I thought I’d start a thread ?

OMG congratulations! :))) Did you receive a call or was it an email?? I’m hoping to hear back for the NICU too!

Graduated with honors for my BSN. No experience as a new grad just caregiving and Covid tester. 

Has anyone in here heard back from neurotrauma ICU?

Sure! I’m from California but graduated top of my class from an Accelerated BSN in Boston and previously had a bachelors in biological sciences from UCSC. I worked as a scribe/scribe trainer for 3 years in an emergency department and previously did a medical mission trip and other healthcare/volunteer experience before that. I did not have connections at UCLA and did not do any rotations or volunteering at UCLA! I had ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications when applying. Let me know if you have any other questions!
