We can talk about applying, any rumors we've heard or just anything in general.

I am so happy to hear that UCLA will be having that program again. I was getting pretty anxious! Just Curious, where on their website should we look for the UCLA RN residency New Grad Application?

I know this forum is about the UCLA New Grad Program for 2018, but has anyone heard if USC Keck is having a Versant Program for New Grad RNs in the Spring of 2018? If so, I would the info on that one too. I had trouble creating a profile on their website. Some sort of glitch.

Do you know how many spots there typically were in the past? I know for this cohort it says less than 50

There's a list of limited units... pretty sad that there aren't that many spots

Looks like they have a really weird.. choice option this year.

1st choices: 8ICU Liver and Kidney Transplant ICU/Ronald Reagan UCLA 8N Liver and Kidney Transplant Unit/Ronald Reagan UCLA 3F Pediatric Oncology Unit/ Ronald Reagan UCLA 5W Acute Pediatrics Unit/Ronald Reagan UCLA 5PICU Pediatric Intensive Care Unit/Ronald Reagan UCLA Perinatal L&D/Ronald Reagan UCLA Operative Services/Ronald Reagan UCLA

2nd choices: 7N Coronary Care Unit/Ronald Reagan UCLA 7COU Coronary Observation Unit/Ronald Reagan UCLA 8ICU Liver and Kidney Transplant ICU/Ronald Reagan UCLA 8N Liver and Kidney Transplant Unit/Ronald Reagan UCLA 3F Pediatric Oncology Unit/ Ronald Reagan UCLA 5W Acute Pediatrics Unit/Ronald Reagan UCLA 5PICU Pediatric Intensive Care Unit/Ronald Reagan UCLA Perinatal L&D/Ronald Reagan UCLA Operative Services/Ronald Reagan UCLA

I'm not sure why there are barely any adult units and why the 1st and 2nd options aren't the same.

Looks like there's no MICU or CTICU being offered even though it says it on the website

Did anyone see that the Winter application was for start dates in March/April? I thought this was actually going to be in the winter of 2018. I don't graduate until May...I'm reading this right, right?? I also typed in the code and there are no live results.

ANOTHER update!

So it looks like CCU and COU are NOT available anymore! They have added the MICU and CTICU as choices. They updated the application.. so if you applied I would email her and tell her your options if you want to or have to change it.

Yeah, you have to apply for the summer one! It starts in Aug/Sept
