UCLA New Grad Residency Winter 2017

Published

Hi Everyone!

UCLA's application for their new grad residency program opened today so I thought I'd make a forum where we could all chat & support each other through the stressful process. Good luck to everyone who applies!

STAFF UPDATE

Tell us about UCLA by visiting University of California (UCLA) School of Nursing | Peer Reviews.

@alicethern- I am in Santa Monica too! future coworkers ~~

I just read my offer email and it says Ronald Reagan, even though I requested Santa Monica =/ oh well.

Has anyone heard from PICU at Ronald Reagan?

@LuRN11, BSN

I got your message but I'm sorry I haven't commented enough to reply! Yes - my interviews were with the same people/floors you mentioned. They're both technically med/surg units although RR is higher acuity (really that is the case for every specialty) and focuses more on liver/renal transplants whereas SM also does oncology. Good luck to you!! I know you will do great in whatever position you end up in!

For those who have accepted offers - is anyone else relocating and looking for roomies?

Has anyone heard anything about 8W?

Hi everyone!

Has anyone received job offers from Ronald Reagan oncology?

Yay, congrats! Jw, are you hired for UCLA SM or RR?

I also applied for 8w! I interviewed December 2 and I haven't heard anything about reference checks or 2nd interviews and I'm still waiting to hear back!

I got a call on Dec 8th, and received an offer for Ronald Regan Oncology! bautistarn

Seng0805 I'm relieved to see your message, did they tell you anything during the interview of when we would hear back? Aside from December 19th?

They only told me that I was one of the last few people to be interviewed so they should be making a decision soon. But they didn't specify how soon :(

Congrats to all who got an offer. Did anyone hear back from Tele? Thank you
