UCLA Residency Applications Now Open!

I'm posting this as the UCLA Health applications open up today for Summer 2023. Want to have a chance to connect!

If the email for the interview only mentions one person does that mean I'm interviewing with just that one person? Do they let you know if there will be a panel?

No they don't tell you about the panel on the interview invite email. They only state the main interviewer. All the best on the panel interview! You'll do great!

Has anybody already interviewed with 7N CCU? Did they already get back to you or did they tell you how many people they are hiring?

For those who had their PICU interview, how long was the interview?

Had my interview yesterday with the manager and director of my unit. They said that I would also be going through another round of interviews with the staff of the unit, and that would be the deciding factor if I get hired or not...I will be contacted by the recruiter if I make it to the second interview.

Any mention of how many they will be hiring?

I had my interview yesterday and it was very short, only 15-20 mins long. They only asked me 5 simple questions and they were very nice, friendly, and approachable. My unit was hiring for both days and nights, and they asked which I prefer. They said they will be making decisions over the weekend and will contact us shortly after. No second interviews. Seems like everybody's case is different. ?

No case studies or clinical questions. All "getting to know you" type questions, behavioral type questions, and stories about previous patient experiences I've had at my job/clinical.

That doesn't sound too bad. Thanks for sharing!
