UCLA New Grad Residency Summer 2022

Hi guys! The application for UCLA's new grad program is opening up soon so I created this for us to connect and post updates ?

I went to school in Arizona and my preceptorship was in a neurotele/pcu because they weren't really letting people into ICUs with COVID. I did an externship over the Summer that was half PCU/ICU. All applicants stay in review until all offers are given. I'm not sure about spots, I asked but he wasn't sure.

I’m still in review too. I have also reached out to HR and I also emailed them letting them know I I got my RN license number to hopefully up my chance to at least get an interview.

Yeah! I interviewed last Monday. The HR person said he wasn't sure at the time

I’m still waiting to hopefully interview for Peds.

Has anyone heard back for peds yet?

I interviewed for 3F pediatrics and said we should be hearing back 1-2 weeks after interviews by HR

Not at all! It was all behavioral/personality, no situational. Why UCLA, why this unit and why do you think you belong here, tell me about a memorable time in the ICU, and future plans.

Interviewed with 5w peds today and they mentioned that we may hear back earlier than the 6/10 deadline
