Hi guys! The application for UCLA's new grad program is opening up soon so I created this for us to connect and post updates ?

Don't worry until you have to! My only options for scheduling were may 9-11 which is the first 3 days of interviews. It's possible they'll have more days as they get through the application

For those that got an interview for pediatrics -- did everyone get an interview for 3F or do some of the emails say 5W (the other pediatric unit at Reagan)?

Mine didn't say until I confirmed my interview. I got a confirmation email after that said the floor I was interviewing for

Yeah I am a bit concerned if and when they are going to start working on the ED pool. Most of the postings are ICU, NICU and Peds. When I contacted their HR person, I was told that they will start contacting candidates by 2nd-3rd week of May to schedule interviews in late May. But I'm dying to hear if anyone has been invited for the interview for ED.

Hey! I applied for ED also (I think). I don't remember there being a drop down section to choose ED - was there? if so, I definitely chose it... otherwise, in my cover letter I wrote Emergency, and critical care in general - in hopes they'd consider me for ICU/IMCU if ED didn't work out. 

I also haven't heard about an interview but I did get the email saying mine has been passed to the hiring manager. When you contacted their HR person, did they confirm there is actually an ED residency happening this round? and those May dates you mentioned were for ED interviews? 

Any idea how many applicants and/or spots?
