I am applying for the UCLA APRN/ MSN for Fall 2019. I am applying for the FNP program. I decided to create this discussion page as an avenue for other applicants to share their application process and also to serve as an update ask.

Does anyone know if the FNP program requires a interview? I’ve gotten 2 interview invites from CSULA and USD but nothing from UCLA

I just got my recommendation from the School of Nursing at UCLA to be admitted! Pending graduate division approval!

I also got invited to interview for CSULB and tentively at CSULA.

I just received a letter of possible admission about an hour ago from Rhonda Flenoy... Congratulations to everyone else who did...I applied for the FNP program.. looking forward to seeing you all

No UCLA program does not have an interview component to it ..they just emailed me about an hour ago...

Yes I also did as well, I only applied to UCLA so that was all for me...

Technically,yes it mean you have been selected...the Graduate school letter is just for formalities

Congrats to everyone who got accepted!! Just heard back that I’m on the waitlist. Anyone have any info on how many people they typically take off the waitlist?

Stay strong! I heard they send out notifications in batches, probably in alphabetical order.
