Hi friends!

Anyone applying to the UCLA MSN-Advanced Practice program for Fall 2014? I applied for the FNP program. I figured we could use this thread to chat and update each other!

Thanks!

Great, thanks for the info. How did you learn about it so soon? I didn't find the info at the website.

Fellowship awards have been/are also going out

Well, I finally emailed the school and received a rude email response saying "you should have received your rejection several weeks ago, sorry!" Um...ok then! I will be going to CSULB. Congrats to everyone who did get in.

Hi - I applied to the MECN program and after emailing the admissions office this am got a similar message. It seems there was a glitch/mistake and none of the rejections were received/went out via email or post! Sorry to those who may not have been admitted (myself included.)

@sunny1230: I'm sorry to hear that news... I was hoping that you get in as well, and everyone of us in this thread.

Goodluck to each and everyone of us- we all have a place and a reason to be great in what we do, no matter where fate brings us

Thanks :) that's ok I'm not surprised since I didn't get in to UCI I figured...but I was put off by the rudeness of the email. Regardless of status we all worked hard on our applications so it would be nice to get some respect...an official letter at least...oh well the future looks good for all of us so no worries

@sunny1230 congrats on your acceptance to CSULB.

Look on the bright side, you'll spend a lot less money at LB. Don't forget UC's also have a professional fee that's abt 15k a year in addition to tuition. And at the end of the day you will be in a good place once you complete your degree regardless of what school you went to. Good luck!

So is it safe to say that if we haven't heard anything...then we are denied admission? And do all our statuses say "You should soon hear..." for people who didn't get admitted?

I have been waiting for an email as well but i did not get any. My status on ucla website still says "you will hear a decision from the department". I finally emailed rF this morning. And she said i didnt get in. I feel like they didnt send all the rejection emails. Oh well...

Probably :/ it seems like they sent out all the decisions except rejections. If I were you I would ask.

Just got an email from UCLA graduate dept to check my status. Before it said: "you should be hearing from you dept soon.." and now there's a link that takes me to a rejection letter. So I will be going to CSULA this fall. Congrats to all who got in and good luck. :)
